Aerie //OFFLINE Brand vs. High end Athletic Brands {Lululemon, Outdoor Voices}

Aerie just released a new brand out of athleisure, workout gear and intimates named Offline. This brand is geared toward activewear made for REAL life. The slogan is "chill. play. move.". I absolutely love this concept, and when I saw these products in person, I realized they are EXTREMELY comparable to Lululemon.

Now we all now how pricey Lululemon is; however, you are paying for quality. I wanted to order my own pieces from the Aerie collection and see if the quality truly matches Lululemon. Or dare I say, even better? If so, this brand will be my go-to for athletic and leisure ware, because it is almost half of the price as Lululemon.

For reference, I ordered a size medium, but it was WAY to big! Definitely size down in this jumpsuit. I am still waiting for my size small to arrive in the mail, so I do not have photos in this piece; however, when I tried on the medium, it was so comfortable, light/airy, and the perfect length for me (I am 5'7).

For reference, I got a size small. This fits a little looser than the Outdoor Voices dress. It is SO comfortable, and I feel like I have more room to breathe!

For reference, I got a size extra-small. This dress is still my favorite, but now I know I can go to Aerie for something very similar and for half of the price. You can also tell in the picture above that this dress is a tad more form fitting to the body; which I prefer.

For reference, I got a size medium. These sports bras are now my new favorite! They double as a top, if you were to wear high-waisted shorts or leggings. They are very breathable, soft, and are the same material as Lululemon tank tops. So insane!

For reference, I got a size small. I am wearing these in the mirror picture above. I love the fit of these shorts, because they are so forgiving and breathable! The waist line is perfect, and the bottom of the pants are flown and loose, so they almost give off that "sweat-proof" feel. If you were to buy one thing from this haul, buy these.

For reference, I got a size 6. The fit is totally different than the aerie shorts above; however, they are worth the price, because the quality has held up for me with these. In the end, you cannot really compare the two, because they have a different fit. I will be wearing both brands quite often though!

For reference, I got a size medium. What I have realized with the line "Offline", is that there clothing is so forgiving and stretchy. This is quite the opposite from Lululemon. In skirts, I size up in Lululemon, but this skirt was actually a tad bit on me, and I should have gotten a size small. Overall, sizing is different between the two brands, and Aerie seems to be more inclusive with their sizing overall.

Summary

All in all, I am obsessed with Aerie's new line "Offline". They have very similar quality to high-end athletic brands, and they are half of the price. This gives people more room to try different styles, colors and fits, because they do not have to drop as much money for one piece! I would recommend trying on their clothing before purchasing, because every brand's sizing is going to be different. What I wear in Lululemon, may not be the same as what I wear from Offline.

When I wore these pieces to the gym, they held up great! The shorts were "sweat proof", and I loved how I could wear the sports bras as a bra and top all in one (aka, less clothing to wash)! They are machine washable and I air-dried them for reference.

I am extremely happy with these products, and I will be purchasing more from this line down the line, now that I know what sizing works best for me.
