The best part of the year is here you guys!!! AKA, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I seriously wait for this each and every year, because yes... the sale is THAT GOOD. I have been doing my research in order to make sure I can give you guys the inside scoop on the run down of this year's sale.
I am going to make these posts a series as I update you on my picks from the sale, my purchases and the best deals of the sale!
What is so special about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
This sale is a once a year, huge ordeal that Nordstrom offers. You can get great deals on designer brands before the next Fall and Winter season! Once the sale ends, everything goes back to full price, and that is just no fun! Nordstrom is not one to do many sales either; therefore, this is the time to buy from them. This is definitely the sale to shop if you want some higher-end quality pieces, without paying the full cost.
Important Dates: Previews, Early Access, Start Date
• Preview of sale items - July 24th (already started! you can now add items to your wishlist from the sale and get to thinking about what you like/dislike)
• Early Access - August 4th - 18th (for card members only! if you have a Nordstrom credit card, you can shop the sale on this date)
• SALE BEGINS / ENDS - August 19th - 30th (this is when the sale is open to the public and everyone can shop! I would recommend starting early, because the good things sell out QUICK)
Tips on Shopping The Sale
If you are on a budget, try and pick long-lasting items such as jackets and shoes that will last for many years! These are the items that are classics, not just a trendy item that will go out of style next season.
Rely on reviews! Make sure to look at the reviews of the item before purchasing, so you know if you really want it.
Think big picture! Are you going to wear this item for one event? Or can you see this item being a closet staple for multiple occasions?
