College Morning Routine

Hi, everyone! Given the craziness of college, every body is different when it comes to their schedule. My personal schedule is what is best for me based on my class schedule, workouts and hectic days.

I always try to start my mornings early (I am definitely more of a morning productivity person than an evening gal)!

I will wake up between 7 - 8:30 am depending on my class schedule. The reason why I love my mornings so much is because it is when I am able to have my "me" time and get ready for the day. I do not like being rushed, so I make sure to allocate at least 45 minutes to an hour before I have to leave for class.

Average Morning (First Class 10:05am)

• Wake up {7:00am}

- As soon as I wake up, I turn off my alarm and get out of bed. I make sure to set out my workout clothing the night before so I can easily get to the gym. I switch workouts depending on my schedule (either Orange Theory or the school/my apartment gym). It all depends on how I am feeling as well!

• Vitamins

- Every morning I make sure to take my probiotic and my women's multi vitamins.

After I take my vitamins, I always drink 8 oz of hot lemon water. This helps my stomach with bloating and digestion. I squeeze 1/2 lemon into my water and stick it in the microwave.

• Workout {7:15am - 8:30am}

- My workout generally takes about an hour and half (calculating the time it takes to get there and back)

Outfit Details:

- Leggings; Lulu Lemon Wunder Unders

- Top; Aerie Tank

Gym Bag Details:

- Full bottle of water in my 32 oz Hydroflask

- AirPods

- Keys

- Sometimes a booty band (depending on workout)

• Breakfast {8:30 - 9:15am}

- After my workout, I make sure to get fuel into my body immediately.

- Before my morning shake, I drink a cup of hot green tea with a scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides.

Morning Shake Recipe:

- 1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder

- 1 TBLS Peanut Butter or Almond Butter

- 3/4 cup Frozen Blueberries

- 1 1/2 cups of Baby Spinach

- Ice and Water

- Top with a TSP of Cocoa Nibs

• Get Ready for Class {9:15 am - 9:35 am}

- This is where I get dressed, do some skincare, and pack my lunch/snacks if I have a long day on campus. My walk to class is over a mile, so I make sure I have enough time to walk to class and get there early.

My morning routine is a s simple as that! For more questions feel free to comment below or DM message me. I understand that everyone has a different schedule, but this is what I find works best for me and gets me ready for my days on campus.
