Hi, all! Fitness has been a very important part of my life in order to live an active and healthy lifestyle! I enjoy working out, and the impact it has on my body. Over time, I have learned about different brands, styles and apparel that works best for me as I workout! I determined this list by a multitude of things: comfort, performance, stability, elasticity, price and style of course. Here are some of my favorite brands and favorite pieces/styles from those brands! I like to mix and match my outfits ranging from higher end pieces to very reasonable priced items. I don't wear something just because of the brand! I want to make sure the piece will last me, and that it will be able to perform throughout high intensity workouts, sweat, and multiple washes.
1. Lulu Lemon
Yes, this brand is the priciest that I have on this list; however, I cannot recommend this brand ENOUGH! You are truly paying for quality, and Lululemon items will last you for years. To me, I would rather have a couple key workout pieces that I know will not wear and tear, versus buying multiple leggings over and over again because they either faded or ripped due to workouts or multiple washes. Their leggings range from $50 - $120, but you can always find some on sale periodically throughout the year. Each style of leggings is specific to what type of workout you are intending to wear them for. For example, the "align" leggings is designed for loungewear, and non-intense workouts. On the flip side, "wonder-under" are meant for high-intensity workouts, sweat, and overall more movement. I have a multitude of styles that I wear for different activities. The website has great descriptions of each item as you shop!
My advice is that you go in the store and try on the leggings before you purchase or go to purchase online. I find the leggings true to size, but the shorts and sports bras tend to run small, so I size up in those. However, everyone's body is different! I recommend trying on all pieces before buying.

2. Aerie
Aerie has some amazing leisure and performance leggings for a great price. I have a couple pairs, and I absolutely love them. These leggings have lasted me for awhile as well, but I must say I do not workout in them as often! They range from $11 to $45, and come in a variety of colors, lengths and styles. I would say these leggings run true to size. Aerie is also always on sale, so they have various great deals throughout the year.

3. Target
Target has the cutest workout apparel! Their private label brands have really stepped up, and they now come out with some of the trendiest pieces for athleisure and performance wear. One of my favorite brands that is sold at Target is JoyLab. They are priced fairly and generally run true to size. You can also always catch this brand on sale during the week!

4. TJ Maxx
TJ Maxx is honestly one of my favorite stores for workout apparel. You can find high end brands for extremely cheap, and they have so many options! The store's merchandise ranges widely depending on the location; therefore, I do not have any specific pictures of some of the items I have from the store. I just went there yesterday and got two workout tops for a total of $14.99! This store tends to be a hit or miss, but it is worth stopping in if you ever are in the area in order to browse the workout section and see what you can find! I have been quite successful in here, and stop in every couple of weeks, because the merchandise changes pretty often. Some brands I have found in the store are Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Calvin Klein and Champion.
